OOTD: Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago, I went to a baby shower for my cousin. I would say my first baby shower, but....yeah. The first one I went to where I didn't want to drown myself in insipid people. ha! It was at a cute, upper scale restaurant in the Bucktown area in Chicago. If I was going to a baby shower, than I was dressy spring-ish. Nevermind the fact it was September. The dress I've only worn once (on my cruise) and I just wanted a reason to wear my tights! :)

Have you noticed how blonde I am??????? Literally....

OOTD: Cruise Dinner

I haven't done OOTD is soooo long. I was going thru my pictures from my cruise and saw a couple pictures I could use. They are so-so, but I'm trying to push out some posts so here it goes.

Pretty much everything on the cruise was uber casual. I mean it's vacation right? But for the dinners it was a nice change of pace to dress up. And I love dressing up! They had dress code rules, but definitely weren't sticklers for them. For example, a couple at our table would wear sweats and a wife beater. I mean SERIOUSLY? C'mon!

OOTD: St Patty's Celebration/"Surprise" Party

This month has been filled with St Patty's parties. March is a great month. I went to Forest Park to meet up in few bars for some drinking before my friend hosted a 'surprise' party which is code for sex toy party. I'm not understanding why its called a 'surprise' party...

Anyway I wanted to wear something that would fit both parties well. I liked how with my belt my top and skirt made it look like I was wearing a dress. PS my green tights rule! haha.

Do you like Peyton creeping in the background here?

OOTD: Casual NYE

I'm back from Europe! What a great trip! I can;t wait to return.

I have much to post and its been a good chunk of awhile, I know. So here's an OOTD from NYE. I didn't do anything crazy and was asleep by 11. Like most days on my trip, I was always so completely wiped out from walking around all morning and day in 5 degree weather.

That evening I went to dinner at a near by hotel's restaurant. It was quaint and food was delish.

Tank: Old Navy $4

Halloween 2010

Wow, am I late on this or what! Halloween was three weeks ago now. I love love love Halloween. It's such an amazingly good times holiday. It's hard to imagine many adults don't celebrate it and believe its only for children. MADNESS! The gays do Halloween better than anyone else. Disagree? Get lost! :P

I decided to go as Kylie Minogue, the international singer. I cant stand buying $65 costumes from Spirit that you only wear once. So when I made/bought my costume and I kept in mind that I'd be using it all again.

Corset: Torrid
Tutu: Handmade
Tights: We Love Colors
Shoes: Payless
Wig: Halloween Hallway
Headband: Forever
Necklace: a gift

The 3 day bender I was on, you think I was Kesha or something...but it really left no time to take photos of my makeup or remember what I used each night. Because it was different every night.

Thank you Effen Black Cherry Vodka.

Closeup of my eye, after I ripped off my lashes.

I won the best creative costume for the night.

This is my lovely bestie. Yes, I did his makeup! It was fun, and interesting. I'm so used to mine and other women's. But overall it came out good. In case your wondering, he was a white Foxy Brown. haha.

Shot taken on the red line of my makeup. I love those lashes!

Peyton as a shark for Halloween. He hated it.

Totally spent after tugging his costume off.
