FabFitFun Spring 2019

It's FabFitFun time! Aren't you excited? This is my second season in the quarterly subscription box and I don't regret the decision at all. Spring had some splendid items picked out for me and 1 FAILURE. Can you guess which one?

If you are interested in subscribing and want $10 off, here's the link: http://xo.fff.me/l2Qq3

The 2Bandits' Athens Necklace - lets start off with this dainty necklace. Not a style I usually go out and buy, but this jewel is a great addition to my work wardrobe. The chain is light and has opal bar. Retails for $30

Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub - For years I've been making different scrubs for Christmas gifts and for myself. I won't just buy any scrub, especially when I can make a comparable one. But this is game changing! It is made with charcoal and Dead Sea minerals - leaving skin hydrated and smooth. The scent is light and addicting as well. Retails for $35

Tula's Purifying Face Cleanser - This large cleanser uses probiotics to remove dirt and makeup. The consistency is thicker than other cleansers I've used before, but effective nonetheless. Retails for $28

OUAI's Leave in Conditioner - OUAI claims to de-tangle and leave your hair shiny all day long. While I don't notice the shine, it worked quite well to de-tangle/defrizz my hair. The scent is all sorts of fantastic, lasting in your hair for hours. Retails for $26

Korres' Wild Rose Facial Cream - WE HAVE A WINNER! This product is the best item in the Spring Box. Korres' facial cream is an advanced brightening sleeping serum for your face. It evens out your skin, softens skin, hydrates and repairs fine lines. The first time I tried this cream...I knew I have to buy this again. My skin was so happy overnight, lemme tell you. Retails for $48

Unplug Meditation Aromatherapy Diffuser - FAILURE! This is the item I was looking forward to. I tossed my old diffuser, which was getting grimy and had trouble opening - due to a broken piece. But Unplug leaks when your move it even a millimeter. It does NOT turn off when it runs it course. So in the middle of the night you can hear a clicking, because the water is out. I contacted FFF about this defective item and they had great customer service. They sent me a replacement that has the SAME issues! WHAT!? I'm extremely disappointed. I use diffuses everyday/night. Lets chat about what Unplug sells this piece of junk for also. It is very insulting. Retails for $55

Dr. Brandt's Needles No More No More Baggage - After such a bad product above, Dr. Brandt will save us. I'm such a massive fan of this company. While on the expensive side, their products are worth every penny. An advanced polymer gel that minimizes dark circles and puffiness. Retails for $24

Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons - These rose-gold spoons are must have to replacement boring measuring spoons. Retails for $15

At the bottom you will see my $5 add on.

Deep Conditioner Review

There isn’t a better feeling than silky hair…and that is from great conditioning. The average woman’s hair should be deep conditioned 4 to 6 weeks, the same time amount of time you get a hair cut. In this shitty economy, saving a penny is super. Skip the salon and save a couple hundred a month by doing it yourself. My recommendation is Paul Mitchell’s Moisture Conditioner. If anyone knows damaged hair…its meeeee! I’ve been avidly dying and bleaching my hair since I was 14; almost 10 years non stop. From brunette to purple to blonde to orange to red to black to platinum and finally back to dark brown. I’m addicted to coloring my hair, which is much better than crack! Haha. Needless my hair with all the dying and flat ironing has been through a lot in its time. With all my broken pieces I needed to find a way to revive it again. I had it deep conditioned at Ulta Salon in Chicago for my birthday last year and it cost me $95. Now to the at home method…after showering and washing your hair, apply your conditioner (and I pray its not the drug store kind. the kind made of wax) and lather it up especially the ends. But instead of rinsing it out leave it in and put a shower cap over it. If you want to be ghetto like me you can use a jewel bag. Of course I can’t live that down, either! For semi damaged or normal hair just leave in for 20-30 minutes then rinse out. But if you have hair that need a deep, deep conditioning—leave it in overnight and witness how softer and healthier its becoming.
