Burlesque Makeup: Christina Aguilera - Express

This makeup was inspired from the song "Express", which was one of my favorites from the movie. Christina's makeup is very bold and direct. Her cat eye is a little more extended and I have a glitter in my black.

There are a few pictures from before I went out to see Burlesque for the 4th time. I just can't stop seeing this movie...it's sooooo beautful! It was night when I took the pictures, so they are a little off balance, but you get it. :P

Burlesque Makeup: Kristen Bell as Nikki

I saw Burlesque last night and I fell in love with it! I was afraid it was going to be some cliche dance movie, but it was so much more than that. The music, the costumes, the makeup, the art and did I mention the makeup? Such a great time!!!

Kristen Bell plays Nikki, who is the diva of the performers. She is quite a bitch as well. But when they hear Ali's voice, Nikki gets booted fast and becomes the jealous backup dancer.

Nikki's makeup stayed at a steady pace. She had a dark brown cat eye with white in the inner corner, which matched her dark hair. She kept the same makeup throughout the film.

I like how it turned out. I don't ever seem to do cat eyes, and I'm not quite sure why. ha. I never wear brown eye shadow because I'm so against neutral colors, but this is anything but good girl eyes!

Concert Makeup: Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D. Tour

I'm disappointed in using my phone camera. The quality is just not up to par. But I took this look from The Black Eyed Peas latest CD cover for The E.N.D. If you have seen the cover, its all black and glow-y green.

Here's another FOTD. A pretty simple semi dramatic look with turquoise and purples. Very summer-y.

Brazil Series: Cattleya Labiata

This is my last post of my Brazil Series. Sad face. I guess that means until I get a new camera or a new phone I'll be MIA. Which totally sucks! Moving on...the flower of Brazil is called Cattleya Labiata, which translated means Corsage Orchid. I prefer it not translated. Sounds prettier! She is a very gorgeous purple flower and we know how I love purple!

Brazil Series: Pride Parade Rainbow Makeup

I'm finally back from Brazil! What an amazing trip!!!! First time out of the country for me and my oh my what a different world. The first weekend I was in Sao Paulo I went to their Gay Pride Parade. Talk about insane...3 million people! I tapped into my eccentric side and pulled out my green wig and matte rainbow makeup. Below is only the video I made from the parade.
