Peony's shadow trio is one of the things I got in the monthly bags from Ipsy. Below are my swatches and just a basic wearable for work or cocktails with friends. I call it a winner! Not  much else to say cause I'm about to rush out the door...

Urban Decay - Chronic e/s

It's Urban Decay Tuesday! Okay,it's not even Tuesday anymore. That is how slacking I was this week. Work was busy busy, then I came home and slept like a rock. I am lame! But I'm focusing saving money for my own place next year. :D

Still not convinced about mattes, but maybe I will get there. Without a base it creased a bit as you can see below in one of my pics. As always I love the packaging and container UD comes in.

I'm not angry or confused. But the damn sun kept following my vision. haha.

Urban Decay - Jones Eye Shadow

I finally have taken advantage of Haute Look's Urban Decay sale! They listed some shadows at $5...a frickin STEAL! I bought 4 of them. They original sell at $17, so if you are a fan of UD you know where I'm coming from.

Jones is shimmery peachy-orange color. Like all of UD's shadows, it's smooth and easily blendable. I bought this at a great time for summer. It's a gorgeous golden tone for the season.

NYX Glitter!!!!

I was checking out some wig shops on the north side the other day, and found this hidden shop. Huge selection of normal wigs, not what I was looking for...But on the up side I did find a huge selection of NYX. I can never find them anywhere in Chicago! I was ecstatic as you can imagine. Each of these glitters sold for $1.50 but normally they sell for $3 each.

Gold - this is everything you should expect from a gold glitter. intense!
Hot Pink - pretty subtle, but a pretty pink
Purple - a lovely lavender color with pink specks in it.
Silver - BAM! Everything a glitter should be and more.

My top pick is Gold and Silver. Simple and beautiful.

Urban Decay XXX Shine Lip Gloss

 For a gloss these have decent color impact. And over my OCC Lip Tars they are great. I love lip gloss that has that touch of cooling. There hasn't been a product from Urban Decay that I haven't liked.

Lancome - La Laque Fever in Electric Pink

 

This was a bit of a splurge. Do you know how a product is pretty pricey but when you have a coupon it makes it all better? Macy's sent me a 20% off coupon last fall and I used it on what? Makeup. Duh! I purchased Lancome's La Laque Fever lip gloss in Electric Pink. Honestly I was memorized by the color. It was I MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW type of thing. I can't say anything bad except the price. At $26 that is more than most would pay for lip gloss. But look at all the sparkles!!!!!!!!!

 

E.L.F. Liquid Lipstick

My last post was kinda...not of the happy, upbeat note. Let's look at these swatches now!

Not too impressed with E.L.F.'s liquid lipstick. Liquid lip stick? More like sheer lip gloss. They are something that I would keep stashed in my car in case of lip emergency. lol.

Hot Topic Eye Pencils - Swatches

 After having success with Hot Topic's nail polish I wanted to try their eyeliner. I mean at $1.99 each, why the hell not? haha. The aqua is my favorite. It's very bright. Something about the color aqua I'm always drawn to. For a glitter pencil, there is not too much glimmer. A few light specks. Overall, I likey!
