Ipsy Glam Bag Plus January 2020

 

Hello, 2020! It's still bizarre for me to write 2020, like futuristic. 😎 I am a little in love with this bag; one side is full marble and the other half is metallic rose gold and marble. At first glance, these products seem small for full-size and after doing research on each item I found that not all of them are indeed full-size.

Hanalei Company Lip Treatment in Clear - A blend of hydrating oils, with rare kukui oil—a Hawaiian nut rich in vitamins A, C, and E, and essential fatty acids. It also contains agave, aloe, and grapeseed oil. This balm has such a faintly sweet taste it’s almost imaginary, but the effects on the lips...stellar. The lip treatment which is quite large for lip products is natural and feels great on your lips without those addicting properties like Carmax. Retails for $20

Illamasqua Liquid Eyeliner in Black - The inky-black and smudge-proof formula dries to a semi-matte finish. I have so so so many black eyeliners, I want to scream in frustration - but Illamasqua's has reason to be moved to the top. It glides on smoother and than any I've ever used! Retails for $22

Complex Culture Press & Set Bronzer Brush - This 2-in-1 setting and bronzing brush helps you apply powder products seamlessly. The dense Syn-tech bristles blend out the product evenly with no streaks or blotches. Retails for $35

Purlisse Blue Lotus 4~in~1 Eye Adore Serum - This 4-in-1 formula deeply penetrates the skin to deliver a nutrient boost that helps ease fine lines, crows feet, dark circles, and puffiness. A unique peptide blend of plant-based powerhouses (French marine plants, soy proteins, and vitamin E) combat signs of aging. The full size Retails for $58 - which irks me, this box is supposed to be all full-sized!

Flesh Glisten Drops in Whisper - This versatile liquid highlighter can be used on bare skin, mixed with moisturizer, or tapped over makeup for a luminous look. The pearlescent rosy blush shade is designed to flatter all skin tones. The formula contains gelled water for a dose of hydration that keeps your highlight looking fresh, never cakey. I'm immensely disappointed in the size, this product is great at leaving your skin "fresh and dewy". Retails for $28

MPRINCESS' Loose Eyeshadow in Pretty Petal - shimmery and blendable wet or dry. Retails for $15

TRÈSTIQUE's Lip Glaze in English Rose - last for many hours and doesn't dry your lips. I do love Trestique! Retails for $25

SMASHBOX COSMETICS' Photo Finish Primerizer - this photo primer has always been needed under your makeup. Retails for $42

 LUXIE BEAUTY's Wonder Woman Detail Tapered Blender 140 -  WONDER WOMAN BRUSH?! I can hardly contain my excitement over these... Retails for $14

AURORA's 24H Lip Stain in Salmon - claims it lasts 24 hours, I didn't test it that long - only 16 hours and color me impressed! I love how easy it applies to the curve of your lips. Retails for $10

HEMPZ's Herbal Lip Balm - healing, hydrating balm is a tad thick (like lipgloss) but with 100% pure hemp seed oil that'll help to moisturize dry, chapped lips. Retails for $9

PURIFECT BY SYMPHONY BEAUTY's Micellar Cleansing Water in Coconut - made from H2O, but it contains microscopic molecules called micelles that act as magnets and attach to dirt, grime, and other icky stuff lingering on your skin. Not something I would normally buy, but an interesting find. Retails for $7

OFRA COSMETICS' Blush in Chameleon - A pressed powder blush that is a rosy-pink color. Its velvety-soft, easy to blend, and build able. Retails for $15

VASANTI COSMETICS' Concealer Buffer Brush - Retails for $6

Ipsy Glambag December 2017

The December 2017 Glambag is a beautiful ice blue bag/clutch with a glitter border by the zipper. It screams NYE and holiday, and I just adores it! My Ipsy got lost in transit, so another was sent. A couple weeks after the replacement was received the the original showed up...SCORE. 2 bags baby!

TONYMOLY's The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream - Korean gel moisturizer, made with green tea. Retails for $15

SMASHBOX COSMETICS' Be Legendary Lipstick in Legendary - a beautiful, creamy and classic red lipstick. Doesn't every girl need one? They claim it can be used as a blush too. Retails for $21

LUXIE BEAUTY's Precision Shade Onyx Brush 239 - angled brush, Retails for $14

Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Eyeshadow in Heartthrob - I was stoked to get something in the Lisa Frank collection, but do not like this color at all. YUCK. It's a matte and warm brown...pass. Retails for $7

Ipsy Glambag October 2017

For October I appreciated the creativity that was put into the bag. I've always been a big fan of Halloween and the horrors of the month of October. The dark maroon bag has a ghost design of lace and where the Ipsy monogram zipper usually is - now has a black bat. ADORE.

FIRST AID BEAUTY's Ultra Repair Cream - they claim it's not greasy, but I found it was a little bit. And it caused my skin to break out as well. Retails for $30

Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion - UD was my first eyeliner I ever bought and I still stand behind it. Classic and solid! Retails for $20

MAKE UP FOR EVER's Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation - Can you truly go wrong with Make Up Forever? Only of they send you the wrong shade in my case. But still MUFE is always EPIC.  Retails for $43

NEON & CO.'s Treatment Oil -  shine on hair! Retails for $25

RIMMEL LONDON's Lasting Finish by Kate Nude Collection in Shade 47 - not my shade type, or brand preference. Retails for $5

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in $12 Latte - UGLY. Why does Ipsy keep sending me brown shades?! FAIL. Retails at $15


BelláPierre Cosmetics Volumelash Waterproof Mascara - Points for giving volumious lashes, but it does not save from constantly rubbing off under your eyes. Retails at $8


Promise Organic’s NOURISHING COCONUT MILK DAILY FACIAL SCRUB WITH WALNUTS & SUGAR - I love the soft skin effects and removing dead skin. My dry as the desert skin thanks you! Nothing is perfect of course, especially the smell it gives off when it comes out of the tube. Smelling the opposite of what it advertises. Retails at $10
