Lime Crime - Eyeshadows

Lime Crime has had quite a bit of controversy surrounding it. In all honestly, it doesn't concern me. Is that harsh? Personally, I've never had any issues with this company. Not that I'm calling anyone a liar, I just try to stay away from drama. And, the creator...Doe Deere...cute as a button. I have never seen such great packaging on makeup. Brights purple and turquoise, I approve!

During one of the big sales (maybe Black Friday) all eye shadows were 40% off. DEAL!

The shadows sell for $14

I feel its hard to pay full price for these items, especially for an indie company. Did you know you can purchase MAC and Urban Decay for almost the same price?

Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper - aka eye shadow primer: the feel is thick and creamy. A little heavy for a primer, but improves the strength of the colors like 50%. Just look at the pictures below.

Siren - an shimmery red, with orange tones. Becomes a deeper red with primer.

Circus Girl - golden yellow with shimmers. before primer, it's pretty translucent.

Lime Criminal - pixie like shimmery green. also pretty translucent.

Mirror Mirror - shimmery, silver metallic. great holiday color!

Avon - Mini Eyeliners

For my birthday I got quite a few things. One of them was these mini eyeliners from Avon. Okay, I'm gonna be honest...NOT an Avon fan. I'm snobby and like my high end makeup brands. Sorrrrrry. I didn't expect much from these liners. There is a light eggplant purple, bronze, grey and a bright royal blue. Because they're mini they are a little hard to handle and apply. In the end they have great color pay out and apply really smooth. Go team Avon!

OPI - Dynamic Duo

On one of my many binge shopping trip to CosmoProf I picked up a gift set from OPI, it consisted of a glitter polish (which sold me right away) and a swirly lip gloss. It has 4 shades of purple gloss and 1 pink. Ranging from matte to shimmers. When it mixes together (and you can't not have it mix together...its swirled!) it produces a shimmer light egg plant purple.

Retail Price: $15.00
CosmoProf Price: $8.00

NOTD: Color Club in Kiss and Break Up

Kiss & Break Up is from Color Club, its part of the crackle/shatter craze. The color kinda popped out at me, so I thought why not. It's a purple with hints of red tones. It's a little sheer, so be careful picking a color for underneath. Color Club's crackling nail polish seems to have the best pattern to me.
