NOTD: Wet 'n Wild in Under Your Spell

I bought this during some promotion from Walgreens for 99 cents. No major less if I didn't like it. And guess what? I don't. It took 3 coats for it to gain its opaqueness. And without the flash on it proved to be very dull.

Brand: Wet 'n Wild
Collection:  n/a
Color: burgendy, blood red, slight shimmers
Name: Under Your Spell
Retail $: $0.99
Rating: D

NOTD: China Glaze's Metro Collection in Urban Night

Happy Saturday! I have had part of the Metro Collection sitting in a box for almost a year. GAH! For my birthday last year, my brother bought me the collection. Okay, I picked it at at CosmoProf then he bought it. haha.  I'm breaking these babies out. As usual China Glaze has great, strong pigmentation and applies like a dream. This is not one of my favorite shades of purple, but a great fall color none the less.

NOTD: Reach Out by Nicole

Oh, my Nails of the Day how I have missed you! Luckily, I have some photos left in my library to make some posts. I haven't had the pleasure of getting my nails done since I have moved. They look as sad as I feel about it. But since I must be very careful how I spend my money until I get a new job. :( First thing I will be doing once that happens is getting to the salon! haha.

Nicole is one mainstream brand that I haven't bought before. Mainly, because I can never find Nicole on sale or my trusty website with amaze balls deals.

Brand: Nicole by OPI
Collection:  n/a
Color: fading baby pink
Name: Reach Out
Retail $: $7.99

I'm Alive!

Hello my lovelies!!!!

It has been a long time. 4 months and no posts. Let's be real, 2012 has lacked...

Previous years I have been more consistent, but life sometimes gets in the way. I finally graduated from Kendall and I moved across the country. After much nagging and teasing I have been convinced to start a travel/new life blog. I haven't done much with makeup or even my nails in the last few months, but I'm going to TRY to put an effort in. So folks, stay with me...I appreciate the support.

xoxo.

Respect Earned: Demi Lovato

It wasn't until recently that I cared for or about Demi Lovato. Nothing personal, but I try to star clear of Disney stars. I find everything on the Disney channel annoying. Disney has a way of destroying young actors/singers. Her first album was not for me, her second had a few songs that were fun and her most recent and third...was more adult contempory and I happened to respect her music.

The girl at such a young age has had her fair share of problems. On October 30, 2010, Lovato dropped out of the Jonas Brothers Live in Concert World Tour 2010 in order to enter a treatment facility to treat physical and emotional issues. She was treated her bulimia and self-injury. She later released she was being treated for bipolar disorder. As part of her efforts to raise awareness about issues similar to her own, Lovato was announced in April 2011 as a Contributing Editor to Seventeen magazine. She will discuss her personal issues as a part of a larger campaign called "Love is Louder than the Pressure to Be Perfect", directed towards teen girls.

"One of the reasons I was so unhappy for years was because I never embraced my emotions and I was trying to stay in control," she says. "In treatment, all of the negative things I did were stripped away and I had to start processing my feelings."

"I basically had a nervous breakdown. I was really bad off. My parents and my manager pulled me aside and said, 'You need to get some help.' It was an intervention. I wanted freedom from the inner demons. I wanted to start my life over," she tells Seventeen.

Personally, I'm really proud of the girl. She's obviously been through a lot. And getting help for her problems...YOU GO GIRL!

Epic Fail Series: Gossip Girl's Jenny

I'm baaaaaaaaack! It's time to bring out my series I started over a year ago. I came across a couple pictures...and was like oh lets do this.

I used to be a Gossip Girl fan. The show used to be really good. USED TO BE. Lets be honest its teen crap. Just kill Serena already. Anywhoooo, I'm off topic. Remember sweet little Jenny? She was adorable, look below. Then look further....scary! Well she quit the show awhile back to play in a band. Which is fine cause I couldn't look at her raccoon eyes anymore. Didn't that fad die years ago?

Taylor Momsen's makeup is something I can't stand to look at. He raccoon eyes over the years have gotten worse. She starting moving into the Gothic scene, which is good for her. I enjoy goth too...but no need to look like a hooker girl!

Looking like a vampire

NOTD: Hot Topic's Neon Yellow

This new blogger has me adjusting to itself a tad slow. Anyone else? I'm trying to get into the habit of catching upon my posts. I'm a month behind. So much has been going on in my life its insane.

This is the discontinued nail polish from Hot Topic. I miss this line. It was inexpensive, the brush was large and the colors are mostly matte. The new line is more expensive and the bottles are smaller. FAIL!

Collection:  NONE
Color: neon yellow, matte

I'm a Fail!

Ahhhhhhh!!!!! It's been over a month and I'm so sorry I've been AWOL. My MacBaby died on me and my friends boyfriend has had it trying to repair it for a month now. It leaves me broken hearted if I lose ALL my data. My photos and music are my life. If that's sad I don't care.

I found this blogger app for my iPhone and thought hey let's try this out cause I miss blogging!

NOTD: Color Club - The Backstage Pass Collection in Platinum Record

Spring break is almost over and it saddens me. :( But I'm just closer to graduation...so yay! I feel terrible that I've been lacking on the makeup posts. So I'm going to have a daily/FOTD thing going on.

This glitter, which is fun, is not all cracked up it seems to be. It takes a lot of will power to apply multiple enough glitter to even partial cover. Lets not even start on removing the polish off. Talk about hard!
