MAC Lady Gaga Viva Glam

Hello, loves! I feel as its been forever since I posted. But it has been a couple weeks now. This is the first moment I have had some flippin down time. Not that I'm complaining of being so busy traveling thru Europe! :) I'm a lucky girl, all this international travel this year.

While in Prague I found the MAC store. It's amazingly gorgeous! Check it out underneath. How can you miss me, I'm looking like a bright marshmallow. haha. I've been looking for the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lip stick for months, but its been hard to find by me. I lucked out! It ended up costing 500 CZK's which equals to $25. OUCH! But I wouldn't change my mind because hello beauty! ;)

Yeah I went a little picture crazy. hehe.

Dear Winter, we are not friends

This is how it should have gone. Worked until 11pm last night, ran errands, finished packing and slept for 2 hours. Followed by a 8am flight.

So what happened? MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELED!!!! :(

I was so excited to be on a plane this morning to go to London, but the city was hit with the biggest snow they ever had. Closing the airport, thousands were delayed travel. I won't be able to leave for Europe until the evening of Christmas eve. It sucks! I'm pretty damn upset. I just lost days of my vacation.

I really cannot stand winter. I think it shouldn't exist. God, I cant wait to move to Las Vegas this summer. STUPID SNOW!!!!!!

Burlesque Makeup: Cher

I've done almost every makeup look Christina Aguilera has had. Because I like her more? Well, I do but thats not why. Cher, who I am not quite a fan of, was great in the film. She cracked me up and I enjoyed her musical numbers. But she has only one steady makeup look. Dark brown eye shadow and sometime her lid had a touch of glitter. Her lips went from nude to nude/berry. This is my interpretation below.

What I Used:

eyes
UDPP in Sin
NYX eye pencil in Brown
Lancome e/s in Margarita Affair
Lancome e/s in Honeymoon
Lancome e/s in Madame Muse
Benefit's Bad Gal mascara

lips
MAC lip liner in Whirl
Urban Decay lipstick in Love Child

face
The Body Shop moisture cream
Maybelline Mineral Powder liquid foundation

UDPP vs Too Faced

Urban Decay Primer Potion was my first primer I ever bought. I fell in love instantly. No more creasing during the day/night when I wore my makeup. That is such a pet peeve of mine. The packaging is uber cute and retro. You can see above and below, its shaped similar to a genie bottle. The packaging rocks, but how much can you get out of it?

I decided to put it to the test. I bought UDPP in Sin about 4 months ago, and I noticed last week I was running low. Hmmm...it still feels pretty full. I tried hard to break the little bottle open. I tried a knife, scissors and throwing it against the wall. I finally got it open and was in shock on how much was STILL in the bottle. I filled up a little container that is 1 inch in diameter and 1/2 inch deep. I managed to fill it completely to the top! Can you believe that? How much was wasted on my last UDPP and I threw it away. BAD!

I've have heard great things about Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I gave it a try. Keeps color strong and crease free all day long during wear. The container lets you get all of the product out with out surgery like UDPP. I was a little disappointed that it only come in one shade. :(

Hot Topic Eye Pencils - Swatches

After having success with Hot Topic's nail polish I wanted to try their eyeliner. I mean at $1.99 each, why the hell not? haha. The aqua is my favorite. It's very bright. Something about the color aqua I'm always drawn to. For a glitter pencil, there is not too much glimmer. A few light specks. Overall, I likey!
