FOTD: Sangria Party Makeup

Last weekend I was getting reading for my friends Sangria party downtown and decided to theme it up Sangria inspired makeup and I'll throw it on the blog. I somehow, even though had 4 hours to get ready, ended up running late and didn't have time to put on my lashes. *cries* My lashes need falsies. They are meant to be. hehe. Anyhoo, this was the first time I used my Morphe crayon and to quote Joey Lawrence, "whoa!" The color is stunning right? It also lasted over 10 hours.

*Dress is Riverdale Collection from Hot Topic in Veronica Lodge

Lancome - La Laque Fever in Electric Pink

This was a bit of a splurge. Do you know how a product is pretty pricey but when you have a coupon it makes it all better? Macy's sent me a 20% off coupon last fall and I used it on what? Makeup. Duh! I purchased Lancome's La Laque Fever lip gloss in Electric Pink. Honestly I was memorized by the color. It was I MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW type of thing. I can't say anything bad except the price. At $26 that is more than most would pay for lip gloss. But look at all the sparkles!!!!!!!!!

Burlesque Makeup: Cher

I've done almost every makeup look Christina Aguilera has had. Because I like her more? Well, I do but thats not why. Cher, who I am not quite a fan of, was great in the film. She cracked me up and I enjoyed her musical numbers. But she has only one steady makeup look. Dark brown eye shadow and sometime her lid had a touch of glitter. Her lips went from nude to nude/berry. This is my interpretation below.

What I Used:

NYX eye pencil in Brown
Lancome e/s in Margarita Affair
Lancome e/s in Honeymoon
Lancome e/s in Madame Muse

Night Club Eyes

What to express your eyes when your going out dancing with a significant other or your friends? I say express because your eyes should express YOU, how you feel and even who you are. Neutral is so passe. One of my regulars for a night out is this dark, navy blue. And pretty simple, too. Apply the blue to your lid and blend up. As it lightens with the blending, go ahead and pat more on your lid to keep the dark consistent. Use a white or iridescent blue to highlight and blend some more. Pop on your black eye liner and mascara…and bam! Your ready for a night out. What I used: Urban Decay’s Goddess shadow Lancome’s Quad shadow Urban Decay’s Deviant eye pencil Heavy Metal glitter liner Urban Decay Skyscraper mascara
