BoxyCharm April FOMO 2019 - My First Month!

I heard of BoxyCharm in passing over the past year, but it wasn't until my coworker raved about it. $21 a month for 4-5 full size products of quality brands. The box is also worth over $100! Every since I joined FabFitFun last year, I'm losing interest in my subscription boxes with mini products. #sorrynotsorry

April's box sold out and what they offered was a FOMO box (Fear of Missing Out). I appreciate that they have a backup plan when they sell out though. I was really impressed with my 1st box. I loved everything and only 1 item I was like "meh." Overall, I'm thrilled. However, I will say whoever handles they're social media...needs a lesson. They don't respond to customers. To me - it seems the pages are only there to promote the business. And in this day and age? Pointless. Customer service is everythang!

Luxie's Luminous Brush Eye Set - A set of 4 gold and glittery brushes for your eyes. Luxie seems to be the brand of choice of subscription boxes, but these are absolutely gorgeous. Retails for $30

Tatcha Dewy Face Mask - This set of 2 face masks are extreme high quality in skin care. Opening the package, it oozed out serum and I could feel the difference on my face. They are a more expensive product but your skin will know and thank you. Retails for $24

Suva's Protege Palette - Suva is a brand I'm not familiar with but I enjoyed the warm and cool toned pallet for work. The color payout is there with matte and shimmers. I'll be keeping an eye out for this company in the future. They also include 2 beautiful highlighters: 1 classic and 1 springy.  Retails for $34

Tarte's Tarteist Shimmering Lip Paint in Strike Gold - This gloss didn't photograph well, but you can still tell its a sheer gloss with high shine, gold tint and iridescent glitters. This shade pairs amazing with my Lime Crime gold Velvetine. Retails for $20

English Laundry No. 7 - This scent originally for men was changed into perfume for women. This item is the only one I'm not a fan of. Perfumes are a product I'm very picky with...well if you know me then you know I'm have standards with pretty much everything. I won't apologize! 😋 It has a mix of fruit and sandalwood for a aroma that gives me a headache. Full bottle retails for $90

FabFitFun Spring Edit Sale Haul 2019

Last month FabFitFun had their Spring Edit Sale. What's that you ask? I had no idea either. Every season, members have access to an exclusive sale called the "Edit" containing great products for large discounts. The discount can be anywhere from 30% - 70% off! Each sale will be open for a limited period of time and functions just like a Seasonal Add-Ons sale.

I went back and forth on my items and finally ended up with 3 items. Check them out below!

La-Tweez Pro Illuminating Tweezers -  Theses purple ombre light up tweezers come in a holder - perfect for travel and a little carrying case (if you decide to keep that part). The swarovski crystal is a button that turns your tweezers light on and off. Tweezing in the dark now made available?! I checked out their website, where they offer many gorgeous colors and sets for $36. I have been using Walmart and Dollar Tree tweezers for years and this upgrade has been overdue. Retailed at FabFitFun $14

Zoe Ayla Professional Ice Roller - I have been intrigued by these ice and ceramic rollers for many months. Is it a fad or truly helps your skin? I added Zoe Ayla's Professional Ice Roller to my order and did some research in the meantime. I was reading some positive things, but the constant was YOU MUST YOU EVERYDAY for clear results. Isn't difficult to remember people? It can be used to depuff, soothe bug bites, redness and post workouts. Usually retails for $34, on sale for $14 at FabFitFun

Luv AJ Full Bloom Lariat - dainty, rose plated gold necklace came in soft black bag. Retails for $75 but FabFitFun had it on sale for $7.

Ipsy Glambag April 2019

April's glambag has some interesting products this month. The clutch has bright, shifted lemons on a white base.  As a girl who was tortured by the color yellow growing up, I now LURVE my bright yellow shades. Bring out the springtime weather please. Chicago has not been kind to us...

Ofra Cosmetics' Rodeo Drive Highlighter - Ofra's baked highlighter in Rodeo Drive is a warm, golden color that applies on creamy. It reminds me of the classic, luminous color for living in the west coast. Retails for $29

Laura Sanchez's Moods Eyeshadow in Alien Turquoise - Alien Turquoise is a shimmery aqua-blue shade that is easily blendable. This color is from Laura Sanchez's Moods palette. She says, "I named the palette using emojis, which is our form of global expression. So visual that it breaks the language barrier." Color me intrigued. Retails for $10

Tarte's Double Duty Beauty Base Tape Primer - Tarte's new primer hydrates your skin under your makeup for a full 12 hours. I was stoked to try it out, but I found it a tad too watery - as it slips right thru your fingers. Retails for $30

Marc Anthony's  Hydrating Curl Cream - This formula hydrates and defrizzes to leave your curls bouncy. My hair doesn't like many curl products, but this one...it took to. Too bad they discontinued their Argan Morocco Oil straightening cream, it was amazing. Retails for $8

Doucce's Punk Volumizer Mascara - Doucce is lightweight mascara that adds great amount of volume without clumping. Retails for $24

Urban Decay Belated Birthday Haul

During my birthday month, Urban Decay emailed me my special "birthday" offer. FREE HIGHLIGHTER! oh-em-gee. They gave me a month to utilize the coupon. Here's my haul!

Vice Liquid Lipstick in Backtalk - UD's liquid lipsticks are great quality! The brush applies on precise and the color won't streak. Backtalk is neutral, creamy pink that stays for hours and hours. Retails for $18

Afterglow 8 Hour Highlighter in Sin - As far as birthday freebies go, this is topping my list. I'm a HUGE fan of highlighters. Sin is light, silky and because its so blendable - you can build it up. It's opaque with a pearl undertone. Retails for $26

Double Down Brow in Brown Sugar - the first thing I ever bought from UD was their brow box back in 2007. And it last for many years...when I had many more eyebrows hehe. They had just dropped this new brow box and I thought lets upgrade, baby! The Double Down Brow Box is made from high tech putty to powder formula to make your brows last up to 16 hours. 16?! Also comes with a mini brush to shape. Retails for $29

24/7 Concealer Pencil in DEA - This product is now discontinued, but UD has one of the best concealers. It last for hours and hours plus it's easily blendable. DEA is super creamy and medium light. Once I run out of this, I can't wait to try their new concealer. Retailed for $20
