Pretty Pretty Princess Makeup

 

Finally a going out makeup! It's way too long, I feel shameful. I order these shadows from Detrivore and tried a few for out my night out. In a picture or 2 they started to crease awkwardly. Maybe cause it was matte and they are more difficult to blend. Overall, the colors world nicely together to make pretty pretty princess look

Bed Head Makeup?

 

AHHHH! Bed Head makes makeup?! Yes! Introducing....Big Fat Fun Smugie Eyeliner! I was doing my weekly shopping and came across this. Such a gorgeous blue to make your eyes go POP. It retails at $16 but I got it on clearance at CosmoProf. Lucky me :) It glides on smooth and quick. Smudgie, as it called smudges decently. The thing that sticks out is the color. Not worth the $16, but I'm really taken by the color.

OPI's Burlesque Nail Polish - The Show Must Go On

 

The Show Must Go On, is my favorite of the collection. It's a red-pink duo chrome with ton of glitters. I get really picky with reds. Red is all about sex appeal, but it has to be perfect. Hello, I'm picky. This is just gorgeous!

OPI's Burlesque Nail Polish - Ali's Big Break

 

How did I not know about this until recently? Bad Rachael! I was doing my monthly trip to Cosmo Prof and I walked by the Burleque display and did a double take. I grabbed it so quick and good thing there was only 2 left! As most of you know I'm obsessed with EVERYTHING Burlesque related. Nothing has gotten me so enarmored since Grindhouse with Rose McGowan. 

I'm going to moving from the right to the left when I do these posts. First up is Ali's Big Break. Candy apple reds are not high on my list of favorites. They don't speak to me.

I went back to this little wig shop that sells random makeup and accessories. This orange is kinda Halloween-ish to me. It's a bright neon color that I only needed one coat. Impressive.

NOTD: China Glaze in Pink Voltage

What is worse than bad lighting? UGH! 

Pink Voltage is a neon pink that is semi matte. It has a sort of duochrome with a blue tint. This pink did rock my socks off. And as usual you cannot go wrong with China Glaze :) 

I topped it off with OPI's Shatter polish.

Man it has taken me forever to upload this. Every time I try at work I get super bizzay. I prolly should have had these on my home laptop. oopsie! :)

I didn't think this green would be all that pretty, but I was pleasantly happy with it.

Oh, not its not Poltergeists...I promise. But that would be wicked. :D I forgot about this adorable boutique next door to my work. They have all types of accessories and are pretty decently priced. They also have this tiny stock of NYX. SOOOOOO hard to find in Chicago, btw.


They look gummy, but only because I stuck my hand on my dresser and messed it up. :(
