Anti-Valentine's Day Makeup

Happy Valentine's Day! Well, a couple  weeks later...oops?

This was a look I threw together for the anti valentines day dinner I went to with the girls. A lot of bad lighting ( it was night time ) and an iphone camera. I need to buy a replacement charger for my cybershot, stat. 

While, I had a list of products used - it went POOF! Most products are Urban Decay and Makeup Forever. 

St Patrick's Day Makeup

 

Oops, I'm a couple days late on this. Since I worked on Thursday, this was my makeup from Saturday (and the St Patty's party I went to). I wanted to mix it up a little instead of ONLY wearing green. The glitter was kinda a fail because as minutes passed it just fell down my face, which you can see in some of the shots. Bummer.

St Patrick's Day Nails

 

Okay, so they aren't REALLY made for St Patty's day. I just did them green cause of all the St Patty's parties I'm going to this month. Then with the crackle they reminded me of The Hulk. This neon color is simply AMAZING. It's super bright and just oooooh la la. It helps me think Spring is almost here. 

Holiday Lip Glosses

 

I got these holiday lip glosses from Ulta as a gift. Definitely a cute stocking stuffer.  They are very sheer and when applied on your lips don't show much color. I love the twist and click tube they come in. Reminds me of Stila's lip glosses, but overall not too impressed.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So like me to write this and not actually post it on Thanksgiving. 

I starting thinking, what am I thankful for? It's been an exhausting year so far. Many highs and many lows. 

I'm incredible lucky to have such an amazing family. A brother who I'm super duper proud of and who has come very far recently. A mother who always has my back and a pillar of support in whatever endeavor I'm into at the moment. And the best aunts I could ask for.

A best friend (who has earned the title of family) and who has stuck with me for years and made me laugh at the most important moments.

Friends whom I've known since I was a kid and although I don't see them much in our busy lives I'm glad they are still in mine. 

And Peyton who is the love of my life!

Happy Belated Mother's Day Makeup

So happy belated, super belated mothers day! I went out with my mom, brother and friend for a late MD celebration ( I had to work that sunday). Spent a fun evening in Chinatown and back to a local bar for drinks. MANY drinks. The makeup is inspired by a flower, with the pinks, white and green.

St Patrick's Day: The Parade

Happy St Patty's everyone! I hope you feel inspired to do something fun and creative and little outside your box. For look I was told that screams the mad hatter meets lady gaga meets holiday...look below. I really wanted to use my Kyrolan Day Glo palette in the green and took this opportunity to go a little more wild. Almost a double sided look with half mask and half dramatic green eye.
